ABSTRACT A pheumatic percussive device has a casing accommoda- ting a movable hammer piston dividing the interior space of the casing into two chambers. One of these chambers alternately communicates, by means of an air distribution arrangement having a movable actuator member, with a compres- sed air source and with the environment. In addition, said chamber communicates, via a throttling passage, with a cavity of the air distribution arrangement the pressure in which ensures movement of the actuator member to one of its limit positions. The invention is most preferably used for forming holes in the construction of engineering lines of various uses by moling.
