ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pneumatic radial tire having at least two tread grooves provided in the circumferential direction of the tread, wherein an interaction distribution diagram showing the state of interference between the edges of tread grooves and the edges of rain grooves is approximated by waveforms and expanded into a Fourier series, with the value of the first-order amplitude being reduced to a low level whereas the value of the second-order amplitude or a higher-order amplitude is enhanced. - 12 -
