The invention relates to a pneumatic rockdrill (99) comprising: a housing, including an air supply inlet for receiving compressed air, and a cylinder (50), connected to the air supply inlet by a set of air passages; an impact piston (14), at least part of which is reciprocable within the cylinder (50); and air-flow control means for controlling the supply of compressed air from the air supply inlet to the cylinder (50); the rockdrill (99) including at least one pair of corresponding contact surfaces at which relatively-moving parts contact one another; and the rockdrill being characterized by including at least one water supply inlet and water paths connected to the water supply inlet(s) and configured so as in operation to convey water to a drilling tool so as to flush a hole being drilled and to supply water to wet the aforesaid contact surfaces.

L'invention se rapporte à une perforatrice pneumatique (99) comportant: une enveloppe comprenant une ouverture d'admission d'air recevant de l'air comprimé et un cylindre (50) relié à ladite ouverture par une série de passages à air; un piston à percussion (14) dont au moins un partie se déplace en un mouvement alternatif dans ledit cylindre (50); et des moyens de régulation de débit d'air permettant de réguler l'alimentation en air comprimé à partir de l'ouverture d'admission d'air vers le cylindre (50). La perforatrice (99) comprend au moins une paire de surfaces de contact correspondantes au niveau desquelles des parties mobiles l'une par rapport à l'autre entrent en contact réciproque, et est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend également une ou plusieurs ouvertures d'alimentation en eau et des passages, reliés à ce(s) dernière(s), configurés de telle sorte que, lorsque la perforatrice est en fonctionnement, ils transportent de l'eau vers un outil de forage en vue de rincer un trou en cours de forage et d'humidifier les surfaces de contact susmentionnées.
