A pneumatic support (1) comprises a long hollow body (2), tapering towards the ends and two pressure/tension elements (5). The hollow body (2) is embodied by a sleeve of gas-tight, flexible, non-stretch material. Said sleeve can be formed from two layers, an external non-stretch, flexible sleeve and an inner gas-tight elastic bladder. The hollow body (2) can be pressurised with compressed gas by means of a valve (6). The both pressure/tension elements (5) lie along diametrically opposed surface lines of the hollow body (2) on the same and are partly or completely frictionally connected to the hollow body (2) along said surface lines. The ends of the pressure/tension elements (5) are frictionally connected to each other.

L'invention concerne un support pneumatique (1) comprenant un corps creux (2) allongé, s'étendant de manière effilée, en direction des extrémités et deux éléments de pression/traction (5). Le corps creux (2) est formé d'une enveloppe à base de matériau souple, étanche aux gaz et à extensibilité réduite. Cette enveloppe peut avoir une structure à deux couches et se composer d'une enveloppe extérieure souple et à élasticité réduite et d'une poche intérieure élastique, étanche aux gaz. Le corps creux (2) peut être soumis à l'action de gaz comprimé par l'intermédiaire d'un clapet (6). Les deux éléments de pression/traction (5) se trouvent sur le corps creux, le long de génératrices diamétralement opposées dudit corps creux (2) et sont solidarisés avec le corps creux (2), en totalité ou en partie par liaison de force, le long de ces génératrices. Les extrémités des éléments de pression/traction sont interconnectées par liaison de force.
