A pneumatically actuated switching device (10) is disclosed for forming a momentary electrical signal circuit with a receptacle of a patient call system utilizing a conductive plunger (38) which slides in response to a pulse of pressurized air delivered to an internal chamber (31) through a housing connection (16, 24) which provides for optional assembly orientations. A spring (40) is used to maintain separation between a conductive plunger and the electrical components when the pneumatic switching device is not achieved by a patient.

Cette invention concerne un dispositif interrupteur (10) actionné pneumatiquement et conçu pour constituer un circuit de signalisation électrique momentanée associé au boîtier d'un système d'appel pour patient utilisant un plongeur conducteur (38) qui glisse sous l'action d'une impulsion exercée par de l'air sous pression amené vers une chambre interne (31) par l'intermédiaire d'un raccordement du boîtier (16, 24) permettant différentes orientations possibles de l'ensemble. Un ressort (40) sert à maintenir la séparation entre le plongeur conducteur et les composants électriques lorsque ledit interrupteur pneumatique n'est pas sollicité par un patient.
