The neutral contour belt structure has a radius curvature of such that the circumferential belt stresses do not vary more than about fifteen percent (15%) in an interval from the mid-circumferential centerplane to the point which is seventy-five percent (75%) of the distance from the mid-circumferential centerplane to the respective belt edge.
