ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pneumatic tire for construction vehicles of a standard type or of a wide base type having a tread pattern constituting as a whole lug arrangement, which pattern is profiled so that main lug grooves are defined at right angles to the circumferential direction of the tire to extend over the whole tread width or extend in pairs, on both sides of the tread center, from both edges of the tread to the midways of the sides, subsidiary lug grooves are defined in pairs on both sides of the tread center to extend from both edges of tread to the midways of the sides and to be located between and in parallel with each main lug groove and the adjacent main lug groove, and the width rate and the depth rate of the subsidiary lug groove to the main lug groove are 20 - 100 % and 30 - 70 %, respectively.
