A rotor for a pneumatic tool having electricity-generating capabilities comprises a shaft and an integral rotor body. The rotor body includes recesses dimensioned to receive an insulated subassembly comprising a magnet received within a nonmagnetic insulator. The nonmagnetic insulator acts to allow flux to be concentrated against stator windings. The improved rotor can be fitted with the insulated subassemblies in order to cooperate with a stator in the tool to generate electricity upon rotation of the rotor when pressurized fluid is applied to the vanes. A ring stator is supportable by a nonmagnetic end plate of the pneumatic tool, is disposed between the rotor and the rotor bearing and is preferably formed of Silicon Core Iron "B-FM" and magnet wire.
L'invention concerne un rotor pour outil pneumatique présentant des capacités de génération d'électricité et comprenant un arbre et un corps de rotor solidaire. Le corps de rotor comprend des évidements dont les dimensions permettent de recevoir un sous-ensemble isolé comportant un aimant reçu dans un isolant non magnétique. L'isolant non magnétique agit de façon à permettre la concentration d'un flux contre des enroulements de stator. Les sous-ensembles isolés peuvent être montés sur le rotor amélioré, lequel peut alors coopérer avec un stator dans l'outil en vue de la génération d'électricité sous l'action d'une rotation du rotor lors de l'application d'un fluide sous pression sur les ailettes. Un stator annulaire peut être supporté par une plaque d'extrémité non magnétique de l'outil pneumatique. Ce stator est disposé entre le rotor et le palier de rotor et est de préférence constitué par du fer à noyau de silicium "B-FM" et un fil de bobinage.
