The invention relates to a pneumatically actuatable disk brake, having a brake caliper (32) overlapping a brake disk (55), brake pads (2, 3) that can be pressed onto the brake disk (55) on both sides thereof, one brake pad on the tension side (3) being actuatable by means of a rotary brake lever (15) of a tensioning device, wherein a brake cylinder (27), which can be pressurized using air pressure, is attached to a flange (1) of the brake caliper (32), said brake cylinder engaging into the rotary brake lever (15) via a cylinder plunger (26) and having a return spring (48) for returning the cylinder plunger (26) to an unstressed initial position, said return spring abutting against the base of a cover (49) supported on the flange (1), said disk brake being configured such that a self-reinforcing device is provided comprising a self-reinforcement factor that is selected such that the brake automatically releases itself after braking, and that the flange (1) forms an abutment for the return spring (48).

L'invention concerne un frein à disque à actionnement pneumatique, comprenant un étrier de frein (32) chevauchant un disque de frein (55), des garnitures de frein (2, 3) pouvant être comprimées de part et d'autre contre le disque de frein (55), une garniture de frein située côté application du frein (3) pouvant être actionnée au moyen d'un levier de frein rotatif (15) de dispositif d'application de frein. Un cylindre de frein (27) pouvant être sollicité en air comprimé est fixé sur un flasque (1) de l'étrier de frein (32). Ledit cylindre de frein présente un ressort de rappel (48) servant à rappeler la tige de cylindre dans une position de départ non sollicitée. Le ressort de rappel repose sur le fond d'un couvercle (49) prenant appui sur le flasque (1). Le frein à disque est conçu de sorte qu'il y ait un dispositif d'auto-amplification présentant un facteur d'auto-amplification, sélectionné de sorte que le frein se desserre automatiquement après freinage et que le flasque (1) constitue un palier antagoniste pour le ressort de rappel (48).
