ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pocket ventilation system for the dryer section of a paper machine. The ventilation system comprises a plenum with an orifice producing an air jet injecting air in the pocket through the dryer fabric, and an orifice producing a high velocity air jet creating a negative pressure zone extracting moisture laden air from the pocket.
