The invention relates to a pod comprising a central pole (1, 8) having a support section (9) which bears the ends of pivot-mounted arms (30). According to the invention, when retracted against the pole (1, 8), opposing free sections (32) of the arms are held in place by a removable locking device comprising an axially-mobile crown element (10) which locks the arms (30) in a radial manner. The aforementioned crown element (10) is held in the locked position by means of a hysteresis effect. In this way, with the release of a compressed spring (20), the crown element (10) can only be moved backwards out of the hold when the spring (20) is additionally compressed by an external force, such as to release a mobile end stop element (21) which impedes the action of the spring (20), and the backstop element is maintained in delicate equilibrium by the crown element (10).
