Point-to-point link (10) for the transmission of digital signals comprising two opto-electronic conversion apparatuses (12, 14) and an optical cable comprising at least one optical fiber (16) having two terminal portions (1), each opto-electronic conversion apparatus (12, 14) comprising an opto- electronic device (3) optically coupled to a respective terminal portion (1) between said two terminal portions (1) of said at least one optical fiber, wherein at least one of the two opto-electronic conversion apparatuses (12; 14) is adapted to keep the respective terminal portion (1) of the optical fiber (16) in bent position with a bending radius R, where 1.5mm<= R<= 2.5mm and to keep the respective opto-electronic device (3) optically coupled to said bent terminal portion (1) in order to allow the transmission of said digital signals between said optical fiber (16) and said at least one of the two opto-electronic conversion apparatuses (12; 14); and at least the bent terminal portion (1) of said at least one optical fiber (16) is such as to satisfy the following relationship r/R <0.07*n/ (35+n), where n is the stress corrosion susceptibility factor and r is the radius of the cladding of the optical fiber.
L'invention porte sur une liaison point à point de transmission de signaux numériques comportant deux appareils de conversion optoélectronique (12, 14) et un câble optique d'au moins une fibre optique (16) présentant au moins deux portions terminales (1). Chacun des appareils (12, 14) comporte un dispositif optoélectronique (3) couplé à l'une des portions terminales (1) de la fibre optique, et l'un des appareils (12, 14) permet de maintenir la portion terminale (1) de la fibre optique (16) dans une position courbée avec un rayon de courbure R tel que 1,5mm <= R <= 2,5 mm, et de maintenir son dispositif optoélectronique (3) couplé à ladite portion terminale de manière à permettre la transmission des signaux numériques entre la fibre optique (16) et le ou les appareils de conversion optoélectronique (12, 14) d'une part et la portion terminale (1) de la fibre optique d'autre part en satisfaisant à la relation r/R < 0,07*n/l (35 +n) où n est le facteur de susceptibilité à la corrosion sous contrainte et r est le rayon de la gaine de la fibre optique.
