"POISON SOLUTION INJECTION TUBE" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A poison solution injection tube used in a pressure tube reactor wherein a plurality of calandria tubes are disposed within a calandria tank filled with heavy water moderator. The poison solution injection tube is disposed at a position separated from four adjacent calandria tubes by equal distances and is provided with a plurality of poison solution discharge holes bored in the injection tube wall in a multistage manner. Each stage includes four discharge holes at equal spacings. These four discharge holes are bored at such positions that four extensions of lines connecting the axial center of the injection tube with the respec- tive centers of said discharge holes meet the four adjacent ca- landria tubes.
