ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURES A polarised, electromagnetic relay is described in which the permanent magnet the yoke and the yoke plate are so arranged that their relative positions are readily adjustable during assembly in order that the size of the airgap at the end of the core may be set. Methods of applying magnetic fields to the assembled relay, in order to adjust the magnetization to the permanent magnet, are also described.
