A polarizing plastic lens comprising a polarizing film with low tendency to detachment from an optical resin layer. There is provided polarizing plastic lens (11) comprising polarizing film (13) constituted of a polyvinyl alcohol resin. Two optical resin layers (12a,12b) of different thicknesses may be disposed on both surfaces of the polarizing film (13). The optical resin layers (12a,12b) are formed by polymerizing a polymerization raw material composition in contact with the polarizing film (13). The polymerization raw material composition contains as one main component an isocyanated or isothiocyanated compound. The isocyanate or isothiocyanate group reacts with the hydroxyl of polyvinyl alcohol resin of the polarizing film (13) to thereby form a urethane bond or thiourethane bond, so that the optical resin layers (12a,12b) are strongly unified with the polarizing film (13).
Une lentille en matière plastique polarisante comprenant un film polarisant présentant une faible tendance à se détacher d'une couche de résine optique. Il est fourni une lentille en matière plastique polarisante (11) comprenant un film polarisant (13) constitué d'une résine d'alcool polyvinylique. Deux couches de résine optique (12a, 12b) d'épaisseurs différentes peuvent être disposées sur les deux surfaces du film polarisant (13). Les couches de résine optique (12a, 12b) sont formées en polymérisant une composition de matériau brut de polymérisation en contact avec le film polarisant (13). La composition de matériau brut de polymérisation contient comme premier composant principal un composé d'isocyanate ou d'isothiocyanate. Le groupement isocyanate ou isothiocyanate réagit avec l'hydroxyle de la résine d'alcool polyvinylique du film polarisant (13) pour former ainsi une liaison uréthane ou une liaison thio uréthane, de telle sorte que les couches de résine optique (12a, 12b) soient fortement unies au film polarisant (13).
