A B S T R A C T A pollen trap is disclosed for use on honey bee colonies in which a pollen collecting drawer may be removable from any side of the hive. The trap provides a cluster space for the worker bees and forms with the bottom board a hive entranceway for the worker bees. The trap can also be effectively positioned at the middle or top of the hive and can be used in double queen colonies as queen excluders.
