ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a continuous process for the manufacture of fertilizer, waste heat from the process is passed in in- direct heat exchange relation with a stream of contaminated air and water entrained fertilizer solids. In this manner it is possible to remove substantially pure water vapor and air together with the fertilizer containing solution which can be used in the manufacture of the fertilizer.
