Abstract Poly(arylene sulfide) compositions are provided which are useful for the encapsulation of electronic articles. The novel compositions comprise poly(arylene sulfide) and at least one silane containing at least one sulphur atom linking two aromatic groups. Articles prepared by the encapsulation of electronic components with the above-described novel compositions display dramatically improved insulation resistance relative to prior art electronic components.
