The invention concerns poly(ethynylene phenylene ethynylene polysiloxene(silylene)) heat-stable polymers preferably having specific molecular weight optionally bearing at the chain end groups derived from a chain limiting agent. The invention also concerns the preparation of said polymers, hardened polymers obtained by heat treatment of said polymers, and matrices comprising said polymers.
