The present invention relates to a poly-gamma-glutamate (PGA) having an ultra- high molecular weight greater than 5,000 kDa. The ultra-high molecular weight PGA according to the present invention has a mean molecular weight greater than 13,000 kDa, and more than 95 % of its molecules have a molecular weight ranging from 3,000 to 15,000 kDa. Also, it can be produced by the culturing ofBacillus subtilis var. chungkookjang. The ultra-high molecular weight PGA according to the present invention shows very excellent moisture-absorbing, moisture-retaining, sustained release, mineral solubility, and water-absorbing properties, and thus, can be used as a new and high value-added material in various applications.
La présente invention concerne un poly-gamma-glutamate (PGA) possédant un poids moléculaire extrêmement élevé supérieur à 5 000 kDa. Selon ladite invention, ce poly-gamma-glutamate (PGA) à poids moléculaire extrêmement élevé a un poids moléculaire moyen supérieur à 13 000 kDa, et plus de 95 % de ses molécules ont un poids moléculaire compris entre 3 000 et 15 000 kDa. On peut le produire en cultivant Bacillus subtilis var. chungkookjang. Ledit poly-gamma-glutamate (PGA) présente d'excellentes propriétés d'absorption de l'humidité, de rétention de l'humidité, de libération soutenue, de solubilité minérale et d'absorption d'eau, et on peut l'utiliser comme une nouvelle matière à valeur ajoutée élevée dans diverses applications.
