A bagger system for enclosing poultry very tightly in a plastic bag, to reduce material costs, present a pleasing appearance, decrease leaks, and minimize distortion of the printed information on the bag. A grabber assembly is described, to grasp the legs of the poultry and guide the poultry into a bag in proper hocking position.

L'invention concerne un système d'ensacheur pour ensacher des volailles dans un sac en plastique très étroit. Ce système permet de réduire les coûts de matière, le sac de l'invention présente un aspect agréable, permet de réduire les fuites et de réduire au minimum la distorsion des informations imprimées sur le sac. Un assemblage de préhension est également décrit. Cet assemblage permet de saisir les pattes de la volaille et de guider la volaille dans un sac, dans une position d'enfilement appropriée.
