POLYFILAR TRANSDUCER FOR CONVERTING MECHANICAL MOVEMENT INTO ELECTRICAL QUANTITY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A polyfilar transducer for converting mechanical move- ment into an electrical quantity comprises at least two bases displaceable in parallel planes with respect to each other, and sectional windings which include conductors arranged in flat rows and oriented along the direction in which the bases are dis- placed. The conductors included in each section of each winding are arranged in two layers and have their ends connected at an acute angle so that each of the layers includes conductors be- longing to different sections and the conductors of each layer of one winding are maintained in approximate parallel with the adjacent conductors belonging to one of the layers of the other winding.
