22772-1145 ABSTRACT The invention relates to a composition containing (a) polyamide and (b) polyarylene ether and (c) 0.5-8 wt.% block copolymer of a polylactam in a polyarylene ether. The presence of minor amounts of (c) already has a very favourable effect on the mechanical properties, in particular the tensile strength; and the compositions are useful, for example, in electrical components.
