Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un procédé de stabilisation des polyamides, caractérisé par l'emploi conjoint de quantités efficaces d'au moins un composé à base de lanthanide et/ou de l'yttrium et d'au moins un halogénure d'ammonium, de métaux alcalins ou de métaux alcalino- terreux. Ces polymères stabilisés permettent de préparer des objets conformés présentant notamment une bonne tenue des propriétés mécaniques sous l'action de la chaleur.
