ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A high-toughness thermoplastic polyamide composition resistant to impact even at low temperature, formed from poly- amides of type 6 or 66 in mixture with from 3 to 10 and preferably 5 to 7% by weight of at least one alternating elastomer copolyesteramide derived from an aryl poly- carboxylic acid, a diamine and a diol. Due to its superior impact resistance properties that remain at low temperature, this composition can be used as components for automobile parts, protective helmets, etc...
