The invention concerns a polyamide comprising macromolecular chains having a star-shaped configuration, a method for making said polyamide and compositions comprising same. More particularly, the invention concerns a method for making a polyamide comprising linear macromolecular chains and star-shaped macromolecular chains with control of the star-shaped chain concentration in the polymer. Said control is obtained by using besides the polyfunctional polymers and amino acids or lactams a polyfunctional comonomer comprising either acid functions or amine functions. The resulting polyamide has optimal mechanical and rheological properties for improving the speed and quality of mould filling and for producing mouldable compositions comprising high filler factors.
L'invention concerne un polyamide comprenant des chaînes macromoléculaires présentant une configuration étoile, un procédé de fabrication de ce polyamide et les compositions comprenant ce copolyamide. Elle concerne plus particulièrement un procédé de fabrication d'un polyamide comprenant des chaînes macromoléculaires linéaires et des chaînes macromoléculaires de type étoile avec un contrôle de la concentration en chaînes étoiles dans le polymère. Ce contrôle est obtenu en utilisant en plus des monomères polyfonctionnels et aminoacides ou lactames un comonomère polyfonctionnel comprenant soit des fonctions acides soit des fonctions amines. Le polyamide ainsi obtenu présente des propriétés mécaniques et rhéologiques optimales pour d'une part améliorer la vitesse et la qualité de remplissage des moules et d'autre part la réalisation de compositions moulables comprenant des taux de charges élevées.
