ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Cardanol, formaldehyde, the polyethylene polyamine are reacted to produce polyaminophenol Mannich condensation products useful as curing agents for epoxy resins. The curing agents have the formula Image where R is a straight chain, unsubstituted aliphatic substituent having 15 carbon atoms and 0 to 3 carbon-carbon double bonds, -CH2NH(CH2CH2NH)XH is a polyamino substituent ortho or para to the hydroxyl substituent, x is an integer of 1 to 5, and n is an integer of 1 to 3.
