A composition comprising a polyarylate-siloxane copolymer, said copolymer comprising arylate structural units having Formula (I); wherein R1 and R2 are independently at each occurrence a halogen atom, a nitro group, a C1-C20 aliphatic radical, a C3-C20 cycloaliphatic radical, or a C3-C20 aromatic radical; "b" and "c" are independently integers from 0 to 4; and at least one organosiloxane structural unit, wherein said polyarylate-siloxane copolymer is free of organic carbonate linkages.

L'invention concerne une composition comprenant un copolymère polyarylate-siloxane, ledit copolymère comprenant des unités structurales arylate de formule (I) ; dans laquelle R1 et R2 sont indépendamment à chaque occurrence un atome d'halogène, un groupement nitro, un radical aliphatique en C1-C20, un radical cycloaliphatique en C3-C20 ou un radical aromatique en C3-C20 ; « b » et « c » sont indépendamment des entiers compris entre 0 et 4 ; et au moins une unité structurale organosiloxane, ledit copolymère polyarylate-siloxane étant exempt de liaisons carbonate organiques.
