Abstract A polyarylene sulfide resin composition is improved in toughness, impact resistance and heat resistance. It is produced by mixing (A), (B) and (C) while being heat- melted for at least 30 seconds. It comprises (A) 97 to 20 parts by weight of a polyarylene sulfide resin and (B) 3 to 80 parts by weight of a polyester resin with (C) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of at least one alkoxysilane compound selected from the group consisting of vinylalkoxysilane, epoxyalkoxy- silane, aminoalkoxysilane, mercaptoalkoxysilane and allylalkoxysilane or a partial hydrolyzate thereof and (D) 0 to 400 parts by weight of one or more fillers selected from among fibrous, powdery and flaky ones.
