The invention concerns a novel adhesive system based on an adhesive chosen from among chloroprene rubber, hydroxypolyester polyurethane, or natural rubber, and uses n-propyl bromide as solvent. The object is to avoid the use of solvents that are flammable, detrimental to health, or even carcinogenic in an adhesive system, which however must achieve results with regard to the adhesive properties that are comparable to those of trichloroethylene.
