A polyester film for electrical insulation having an apparent density of 1.37- 0.85 g cm3 and a modulus of tensile elasticity of 2.0-4.5 GPa. The film has a low oligomer property, a high heat resistance, a high shock resistance, a high formability, an excellent incorporation stability, and improved visibility. When this film is used for electrical insulation of motors, leakage currents hardly flow.

Ce film polyester pour isolation électrique possède une densité apparente comprise entre 1,37 et 0,85 g/cm?3¿ et un module d'élasticité extensible compris entre 2,0 et 4,5 Gpa. Ce film, qui est pourvu d'une faible propriété d'oligomère, d'une résistance élevée à la chaleur et aux chocs, possède une grande aptitude au formage, une excellente stabilité d'incorporation et une transparence améliorée. L'utilisation de ce film pour l'isolation électrique de moteurs permet de limiter les courants de fuite.
