Abstract Of the Invention Polyester-polyurethane hybrid resin molding compositions prepared using 2- methyl-1,3-propanediol and which are modified by the addition of a low profile additive to provide glass-reinforced articles that have improved surface profiles only as hybrids and improved processability compared to commercial low profile- modified unsaturated non-hybrid polyester resins. Furthermore, the polyol compositions of the present invention do not crystallize from styrene (which improves the liquid stability), are lower in viscosity, and are easier to process.
