Polyetherpolycarbonatediols are disclosed, which comprise (A) from 3 to 63.7 mol % of units derived from a polyoxytetramethylenediol; (B) from 63.7 to 3 mol % of units derived from a polyoxy-C2-C8-alkylenediol other than (A), an aliphatic alkanediol of from 2 to 14 carbon atoms, an alicyclic alkanediol of from 3 to 14 carbon atoms or an alkylene oxide of 2 or 3 carbon atoms, or a mixture thereof; and (C) from 33.3 to 50 mol % of units derived from phosgene, a dialkyl carbonate having C1-C4-alkyl groups or a cyclic carbonate having C2-C4-alkylene bridges, or a mixture thereof. These compounds are useful for producing thermoplastic polyurethanes, polyetheresters, polyetheramides, cellular polyurethane elastomers, casting elastomers and fibers.

Polyétherpolycarbonatediols renfermant : A) de 3 à 63,7 % en moles d'unités dérivées d'un polyoxytétraméthylènediol; B) de 63,7 à 3 % en moles d'unités dérivées d'un polyoxyalkylène-C2-C8-diol autre que (A), d'un alcanediol aliphatique de 2 à 14 atomes de carbone, d'un alcanediol alicyclique de 3 à 14 atomes de carbone ou d'un oxyde d'alkylène de 2 ou 3 atomes de carbone, ou d'un mélange de ces composés; C) de 33,3 à 50 % de moles d'unités dérivées du phosgène, d'un carbonate de dialkyle renfermant des groupes alkyles C1-C4, ou d'un carbonate cyclique avec des ponts alkylène C2-C4, ou d'un mélange de ces composés. Ces produits sont utiles pour la fabrication de polyétheresters, de polyétheramides, de polyuréthanes thermoplastiques, d'élastomères cellulaires de polyuréthane, d'élastomères de coulage et de fibres.
