A polyethylene composition that resists changing color when subjected to ultraviolet light said polyethylene composition comprises: (a) bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphite, in an amount that is at least about 0.001 parts but less than 0.30 parts per 100 parts by weight of said polyethylene; and (b) zinc stearate, in an amount that is from about 0.1 part 1 part per 100 parts by weight, of said polyethylene.
