A composition comprising one or more compounds of formula (I) or (II), wherein: Rf is a linear or branched perfluoroalkyl having 1 to 7 carbon atoms, optionally interrupted by one to three oxygen atoms, r and q are each independently an integer of 1 to 3, j is 0 or 1, or a mixture thereof, x is from about 1 to about 2, Z is -O-, -S-, or -NR-, R is hydrogen or an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms X is hydrogen or M, and M is an ammonium ion, an alkali metal ion, or an alkanolammonium ion, and its use in providing surface properties to substrates is disclosed.

L'invention concerne une composition comprenant au moins un composé de formule (I) ou (II), où Rf est un perfluoroalkyle linéaire ou ramifié comprenant entre 1 et 7 atomes de carbone, éventuellement interrompus par entre un et trois atomes d'oxygène, r et q représentent chacun indépendamment un entier compris entre 1 et 3, j est égal égal à 0 ou à 1 ou un de ses combinaisons, x vaut 1 ou 2, Z représente -O- ou -S-, X représente l'hydrogène ou M, et M est un ion d'ammonium, un ion métallique alcalin ou un ion alcanolammonium et son utilisation pour conférer des propriétés de surface à des substrats.
