A heat exchanger tube that comprises a tubular member having a longitudinal axis and having an inner surface that is divided into at least two regions along the circumferential direction. A first plurality of polyhedrons is formed on the inner surface along at least one polyhedral axis. A second plurality of polyhedrons is formed on the inner surface adjacent to the first plurality of polyhedrons. Each of the polyhedrons has four opposite sides. The polyhedrons have first and second faces that are disposed parallel to the polyhedral axis and have third and fourth faces disposed oblique to the polyhedral axis. The polyhedral axis of the first plurality of polyhedrons is disposed at a first helical angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tube. The polyhedral axis of the second plurality of polyhedrons is disposed at a second helical angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tube. The orientation of the second helical angle is opposite to the orientation of the first helical angle.

Une première pluralité de polyèdres est formée sur la surface interne, le long d'au moins un axe polyédrique. Une seconde pluralité de polyèdres est formée sur la surface interne, adjacente à la première pluralité de polyèdres. Chacun des polyèdres possède quatre côtés opposés. Ces polyèdres possèdent des première et deuxième faces qui sont disposées parallèlement à l'axe polyédrique et des troisième et quatrième faces qui sont disposées obliquement par rapport à l'axe polyédrique. L'axe polyédrique de la première pluralité de polyèdres est situé à un premier angle hélicoïdal par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du tube. L'axe polyédrique de la seconde pluralité de polyèdres est situé à un second angle hélicoïdal par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du tube. L'orientation du second angle hélicoïdal est opposée à l'orientation du premier angle hélicoïdal.
