The invention relates novel polyimides derived from 6FDA and 3,3-dihydroxy-4,4'-diamino-biphznyl, in addition to novel polyimides derived from PMDA and Bis-AP-AF, comprising lateral groups of, aryl-alkyl, heteroaryl-alkyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl, fluoroalkyl or siloxane. The invention further comprises a method for the production of nematic liquid crystal devices, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: a substrate of one of the polyamides according to the invention is deposited; the polyimide is post-cured in one or two steps; an azimuthal orientation is defined for the polyimide deposit.
La présente invention concerne des nouveaux polyimides dérivés du 6FDA et du 3,3-dihydroxy-4,4'-diamino-biphényle, et des nouveaux polyimides dérivés du PMDA et du Bis-AP-AF, comportant des groupements latéraux alkyle, aryl-alkyle, hétéroaryl-alkyle, cycloalkyl-alkyle, fluoroalkyle ou siloxane. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de réalisation de dispositifs à cristaux liquides nématiques, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend les étapes consistant à: déposer un substrat d'un des polyimides, selon l'invention, effectuer un recuit du polyimide en une ou plusieurs étapes, définir une orientation azimutale du dépôt de polyimide.
