Polyurethane, polyisocyanurate and polyurea polymers, particularly foamed polymers can be prepared from formulations including non-silicone polyether surfactant. The non-silicone polyether surfactants can be polyethers having from about 10 to about 90 weight percent oxyethylene units and from about 10 to about 90 weight perecent oxyalkylene units having at least 4 carbons. The non-silicone polyether surfactants can be used to prepare foams having properties substantially similar to foams prepared with conventional silicone based surfactants.

L'invention concerne des polymères de polyuréthane, polyisocyanurate et polycarbamide, notamment des polymères transformés en mousse qui peuvent être préparés à partir de formulations comprenant des tensioactifs de polyéther autres que silicone. Les tensioactifs de polyéther autres que silicone peuvent être des polyéthers possédant d'environ 10 à environ 90 % en poids de motifs d'oxyéthylène et d'environ 10 à environ 90 % en poids de motifs d'oxyalkylène possédant au moins 4 atomes de carbone. Les tensioactifs de polyéther autres que silicone peuvent être utilisés pour préparer des mousses dont les propriétés sont pratiquement similaires à celles des mousses préparées avec des tensioactifs classiques à base de silicone.
