63293-2689 ABSTRACT New polymers of carbon monoxide with ethene and with one or more other olefinically unsaturated hydrocarbons (A), with less than 20 carbon atoms. The polymers have a linear structure, consist of units -CO(C2H4)- and units -CO-(A)-, said units -CO-(A)- being randomly distributed, and have a melting point of between 150 and 245°C. The polymers show an excellent thermal stability and due to their relatively low melting point are useful for processing into shaped objects, for example by injection- moulding.
