ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A personal antiperspirant product contains a moisture-absorbent polymer instead of or in addition to the usual metal salt. The product is applied to the skin in a finely divided form to give a dry, non-sticky deposit for absorbing skin moisture such as perspiration. The polymer is capable of absorbing an amount of moisture at least equal to its own weight after depositing the product onto the skin.
