The invention relates to the film products and methods of their preparation that demonstrate a non-self-aggregating uniform heterogeneity. Desirably, the films disintegrate in water and may be formed by a controlled drying process, or other process that maintains the required uniformity of the film. The films contain a polymer component which includes polyethylene oxide, optionally blended with at least one additional polymer. The films may alternatively contain a polymer component which includes polyvinyl alcohol, optionally blended with at least one additional polymer. The films also may contain a pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic active agent.

La présente invention concerne des produits sous forme de films et des procédés pour leur préparation qui démontrent une hétérogénéité uniforme sans auto-agrégation. D'une manière souhaitable, les films se désagrègent dans l'eau et ils peuvent être formés par un procédé de séchage contrôlé ou par un autre procédé qui maintient l'uniformité requise du film. Les films contiennent un composant polymère qui comprend de l'oxyde de polyéthylène, éventuellement mélangé avec au moins un polymère supplémentaire. Les films peuvent contenir, en variante, un composant polymère qui comprend un polyalcool vinylique, éventuellement mélangé avec au moins un polymère supplémentaire.
