ABSTRACT POLYMER BLEND ARTICLES A surface mount article e.g. surface mount electronic components and circuit boards, comprises a polymeric blend having a polymeric component which comprises 1% to 90% of a polyarylethersulphone, particularly one having at least 50 mole 2 of repeat units -Ph-SO2-Ph-O- (where Ph is 1,4-phenylene), and 992 to 102 by weight of a melt processable aromatic copolyester which is capable of forming an anisotropic melt phase apart from the blend. Articles made from such blends show good resistance to soldering, especially vapour phase soldering, conditions.
