Abstract of the Disclosure A blend composition comprising (a) 50 to about 90% of fluorinated elastomer, (b) 10 to about 50% of essentially fluorine-free thermoplastic polymer having a melt temperature or glass transition temperature greater than about 150 C (preferably greater than about 180 C). A curing agent can be mixed with the elastomer when the thermoplastic polymer is blended with the elastomer at an elevated temperature. Articles produced from the cured composition exhibit a continuous service temperature of at least 150 C (preferably at least 180 C) and a volume swell of less than about 150% in methanol and hydrocarbon fuels and oils. The composition and cured articles are reprocessable.
