Described is a cancer therapeutic agent comprising a polymer to which is linked three or more anti-tumor cell antibodies. Soluble polymers of between 6- 8 Kd in size are preferred. The antibodies of the polymer can bind to a tumor cell antigen of a tumor cell and induce apoptosis or cell death of the tumor cell. The polymer may be linked to different antibodies to the same tumor antigen or to different tumor antigens. Methods of treating an individual with cancer using the cancer therapeutic agent are also described.

L'invention concerne un agent thérapeutique anticancéreux comprenant un polymère auquel est relié au moins trois anticorps cellulaires antitumoraux. Des polymères solubles de 6 à 8 Kd en taille sont des polymères préférés de l'invention. Les anticorps de ce polymère peuvent se lier à un antigène cellulaire tumoral d'une cellule tumorale, et induire une apoptose ou une mort cellulaire de la cellule tumorale. Le polymère peut être relié à différents anticorps, au même antigène tumoral ou à des antigènes tumoraux différents. L'invention concerne des méthodes de traitement d'un individu présentant un cancer. Ces méthodes font appel à l'agent thérapeutique anticancéreux susmentionné.
