Process for the preparation of a polymer-containing composition comprising the steps of: a) preparing a mixture of at least one cyclic monomer selected from glycolide and lactide and a layered double hydroxide comprising as charge-balancing anions 10 to 100% of an organic anion and 0 to 90% of hydroxide, based on the total amount of charge-balancing anions, and b) polymerising said monomer, optionally in the presence of a polymerisation initiator or catalyst.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation dune composition contenant un polymère, qui comprend les étapes consistant à : a) préparer un mélange dau moins un monomère cyclique choisi parmi un glycolide et un lactide et un double hydroxyde stratifié comprenant, en tant quanions déquilibrage de charge de 10 à 100% dun anion organique et de 0 à 90% dhydroxyde, en prenant pour base la quantité totale danions déquilibrage de charge, et b) polymériser ledit monomère, éventuellement en présence dun initiateur de polymérisation ou dun catalyseur.
