ABSTRACT The present invention relates to polymer organosiloxane ammonium salts of oxyacids having a silicic acid-like basic structure, consisting of units of the general formula (I) Image in which R1 and R2 are equal or different and stand for a group of the general formula (II) Image R5 standing for an alkylene group and the oxygen atoms being saturated by silicon atoms of additional groups of Formula (II) optionally with the incorporation of cross-linking elements, R3 is of the same value as R1 or R2, hydrogen or an alkyl group, and R4 has the value of hydrogen or an alkyl group, and wherein x is the charge number of an oxyanion of a monooxy acid, an isopolyoxy acid, or a heterpolyoxy acid of vanadium, niobium, tantalum, molybdenum, or tungsten, the oxy groups of the X anion also being replaceable by peroxy groups. The present invention also provides a process to produce the salts (I) from previously known salts of type [R1R2R3R4N+]yY with Y being unequal to X, and the use of the salts (I) as catalysts for oxidation reactions using peroxy compounds as oxydizing agents.
