ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A composition universally usable as an impact modifier for synthetic resins comprising (A) from 10 to 80 percent by weight of a polymer of the formula Image wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl, R2 is C5-C7 cycloalkyl or such cycloalkyl substituted by C1-C22 alkyl, y has a value such that the corresponding monomer or monomers are from 5 to 50 percent by weight of polymer (A), and x has a value such that the corresponding monomer, together with up to 20 percent by weight of one or more optional comonomers, is the balance by weight, and (B) from 20 to 90 percent by weight of an optionally crosslinked polymer having a glass transition temperature, Tg, below 10°C and preferably less than -10°C, polymer (B) being at least partially bonded covalently to polymer (A).
