A stable, pourable, liquid composition contains 20 to 60 % by weight of a blend of a water soluble high IV polymer and a water soluble low IV cationic coagulant polymer, is selected from polyamines, cationic dicyandiamide polymers and polymers of 70 to 100 % ethylenically unsaturated cationic monomer with 0 to 30 % by weight acrylamide, and contains 0.01 to 1 part by weight of a water soluble multi-hydroxy compound per part by weight of the coagulant polymer.

Composition liquide stable et coulante, contenant de 20 à 60 % en poids d'un mélange de haut polymère IV soluble dans l'eau et de bas polymère IV coagulant, cationique, soluble dans l'eau, sélectionnée à partir de polyamines, de polymères de dicyandamides cationiques et de polymères contenant 70 à 100 % de monomère cationique non saturé en éthylène avec 0 à 30 % en poids d'acrylamide, et contenant 0,01 à 1 partie en poids d'un composé multi-hydroxy soluble dans l'eau par partie en poids du polymère coagulant.
