ABSTRACT A stabilized thermoplastic moulding composition based on halogen-containing polymers, in particular polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride copolymers. The stabilizer system contains as primary stabilizers polyoxazolines and zinc compounds. The costabilizers according to the invention are copolymers of oxazolines and bisoxazoles of formulae Ia and Ib, respectively Image and Image (Ia) (Ib) wherein R1 and X are, for example, a C1-C20 alkyl. The moulding composition comprising costabilizers show better heat stability than compositions stabilized with primary stabilizers only.
