A thermal lithographic printing plate overcoat composition comprising (a) a water- soluble polymeric dye having an absorption band between about 300 and about 600 nm; and (b) micro-particles or nano-particles is provided. A negative-working thermal lithographic printing plate comprising (a) a hydrophilic substrate; (b) a near infrared imaging layer disposed on the hydrophilic substrate; and (c) an overcoat layer disposed on the imaging layer, said overcoat layer comprising a water-soluble polymeric dye having an absorption band between about 300 and about 600 nm; and micro-particles or nano-particles is also provided. Finally, a water-soluble polymeric dye having an absorption band between about 300 and about 600 nm is provided.
L'invention porte sur une composition de couche de recouvrement d'une plaque d'impression lithographique thermique. Cette composition comprend (a) un colorant polymère soluble dans l'eau ayant une bande d'absorption entre environ 300 et environ 600 nm ; et (b) des microparticules ou des nanoparticules. L'invention porte également sur une plaque d'impression lithographique thermique négative comprenant (a) un substrat hydrophile ; (b) une couche d'imagerie infrarouge proche disposée sur le substrat hydrophile ; et (c) une couche de recouvrement disposée sur la couche d'imagerie, ladite couche de recouvrement comprenant un colorant polymère soluble dans l'eau ayant une bande d'absorption entre environ 300 et environ 600 nm ; et des microparticules ou nanoparticules.
